About Mr. Jim's

Using ingredients straight from our garden out front, our chef creates the most incredibly tasting dishes!!! Flowers from the garden are also used on the dining tables.

Our Restaurant:

For over 40 years, Mr. Jim's Steakhouse has been serving oustanding steaks and other specialties in the Tri-state area. The Laverty brothers love entertaining and cooking. When you're at Mr. Jim's, you're family to us! Antique wall murals, the large fireplace, and our all around comfortable atmosphere makes for a wonderful and relaxing dinning experience.

Among many favorites from our menu, Filet Mignon, T-Bones, and Ribeyes are grilled to perfection. Other favorites include Terry's famous BBQ baby back ribs and delicious BBQ or grilled chicken. And of course, you cannot leave Mr. Jim's without trying one of the wonderful home made soups or chili-- made fresh daily!!!

Our History:
The Mr. Jim's logo is made up of seven distinct flares off of the main flame. Each of the seven flares represents a member of the Laverty family: Jim, Maggie, and their five children. Although Mr. Jim passed away in May of 2000, his spirit definitely lives on in his children. His amazing talent and passion for the family restaurant business lives on in his sons. Owners and brothers, Tom, John, and Terry Laverty truly enjoy cooking and entertaining!
